Mrs. Dalloway!

Stream of consciousness is a narrative technique. Used before by authors such as Virginia Wolf, James Joyce, and Foster. This technique was developed at the end of the 19th century. It was employed to evoke the psychic life of a character, subjectively as well as objectively. In “Mrs. Dalloway”, Mrs. Dalloway, Septimus, and peter’s consciousnesses are present. The novel is multi-dimensional. And it has many different dimensions in the sense of time.  In Mrs. Dalloway were are able to hear character’s inner and outer thoughts. Time is an important theme. Clarissa thinks about death often, which seems to also have a correlation with time. She is a multi-dimensional character especially her way of thinking. She has the ability to feel young and old, depending on the setting in which she is in, and what is going on in her head, as well as around her.
