Voyage in the Dark

I think this was a good book to read after Mrs. Dalloway because it also has modernist techniques like Anna's stream of consciousness dialogue, but it is a bit more hidden. When we started reading Mrs. Dalloway, it was immediately obvious to all of us that this novel was a different style than we had read in class before. With Voyage in the Dark, though, it wasn't as obvious right off the bat for me because it's a very easy read with lots of conversations between characters. It's cool to be able to identify modernist features in this novel too after looking more closely.
